Here are some specific ways that individuals and companies can participate with OpenZFS:
If you are making a product with OpenZFS
- Have your logo on the Companies and organizations page
- Contact admin@open-zfs.org for help
- We'll also include your logo on T-shirts that we give out at conferences
- When you talk about ZFS publicly, use the term OpenZFS, and link to this website.
If you are an OpenZFS admin / user
- Help spread the word about OpenZFS!
- Blog, tweet (#OpenZFS), write for magazines, etc.
- Contribute to this website by helping organize it or writing documentation.
- Attend OpenZFS office hours to learn more about ZFS from the developers
If you are writing code
- Join the developer@open-zfs.org Mailing list
- Stay informed about OpenZFS work happening in your area.
- Get design help or feedback on your code changes.
- Contribute your code changes upstream.
- Learn more from OpenZFS developer resources
- Make others aware of your projects on the mailing list and projects page.
- Host or attend OpenZFS office hours to interact with other ZFS developers and users.
